Art From The Heart

Join us as we come together to celebrate the history of our black communities, our ongoing resilience and empowerment. Art from the Heart is about creating more collective and safer spaces for our communities to heal, move and play together.

Though we have gotten through the initial impacts of the pandemic. It is not without its effects on our mental health.

This is an invitation for you and your family to come and explore the powerful and healing benefits of art and movement therapies on building mental health and resilience. Be prepared to be inspired and uplifted as we kick off our black history celebrations.

The event will be at the Kitchener Public Library located at 85 Queen St N on Sunday June 17th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

There will be light refreshments provided. We will end this evening of fun with a collaborative art project that we can take pride in, because you are our ancestors' wildest dreams!

Make sure to keep a look out in your inbox for our future newsletters which will highlight some of our upcoming events.
