Local poet Sherice Alishaw is from Kitchener and currently living in Guelph. She is a Social worker who advocates for those recovering from mental health struggles. She has her own radio show called “It's a Vibe with Sherice”. Sherice has published her first poetry book called ‘Journey Through The Darkness’ and she will be writing more in the future. This book takes you on a journey through life. It takes you through some of the highs and lows that herself, and many others have experienced throughout their lifetimes.
